Things to Bring

Killure Lodge is a self catering facility (a rented holiday home) rather than a bed and breakfast B&B. That is why you will find most of the things you need for a weekend, or for a week away. Please check the four star listing for full details.

You would only need to bring your personal items, toiletries and clothes, as well as:

Food and other consumables, bread, milk and coffee
Sports equipment, fishing gear or golf clubs
The children's toys
Special needs and medicines
All-weather gear along with boots and a hat
Your camera (and perhaps film)
A nightcap to see you off to sleep

From Killure Lodge you can avail of the town, coast, mountains, valleys and river banks. You'll need a good map of south-east Ireland and perhaps your GPS. You may need other equipment to accommodate your Kilkenny adventures: golf, fishing, hiking, biking or simply sight seeing.

But don't worry about the things you forgot to bring (isn't there always something). Kilkenny and Carlow are large towns nearby and can supply everything that might become essential during your stay. Killure Lodge balances the advantages of proximity with all the pleasures of seclusion.
